My mission is to help women and families in Darfur. In addition to creating this website, I have produced a DVD titled, Never Again...Not On Our Watch. On this DVD, Sarah Dekelbaum, a long-time Jewish educator, tells a moving and inspirational Holocaust survival story. The importance of speaking up when there is injustice is a central theme. The DVD sells for $10.00. Profits will be used to help women and families in Darfur through donations to CHF International's Fuel-Efficient Stove Project. These stoves are important because they decrease the amount of time women and children need to leave the relative safety of their compounds to gather fuel wood. As they search for wood in remote areas, women and children placed themselves at risk for rape, robbery, and murder.
